Apple Expands in South Florida, Betting on Miami’s Emerging Tech Hub

Apple is significantly expanding its presence in Miami with new offices at The Plaza Coral Gables and a flagship store at Miami Worldcenter.

Currently, Apple’s Miami office focuses on advertising operations and its Latin American markets, but the scale of the new facilities hints at a broader role in the company’s global strategy.

The new office will be located at The Plaza Coral Gables, a prestigious business center that also hosts companies like Raymond James. Apple’s move mirrors the trend of other major tech firms—such as Microsoft and Amazon—further positioning Miami as a fast-growing technology hub.

Meanwhile, construction is already underway on Apple’s new store at Miami Worldcenter. The 1,500-square-meter space, with an estimated cost of $12 million, will feature a sustainability-focused design that includes eco-friendly materials, a green roof, and landscaped areas with native plants—reinforcing Miami Worldcenter’s commitment to building a sustainable, environmentally conscious community.
